Forward Behavior provides Applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services to bring about meaningful and positive change to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, ODD, and other behavior problems. PARENT TRAINING
Parents of children who have behavioral issues must seek additional support in order to help their child achieve optimal success. Forward Behavior offers this unique, specialized support in a myriad of different ways. Observations in the home environment, parent meetings, and explicit instruction in behavior management techniques are just a few of the services that we provide for parents. All parent training services are provided by a qualified behavioral professional who specializes in teaching parents how to understand, manage, and further develop the behavioral growth and progress of their child. These services are tailored and individualized for the specific needs of each family.
INDIVIDUAL
Our team of professionals work directly with your child, utilizing research-based techniques that develop the necessary skills to become a more independent individual. Toilet training, limited food interest, tantrums, following directions, bedtime routines, sibling relationships, community safety, self-help skills, organization, and coping skills are just some of the many issues that we address in our programs. Our services are pertinent to the individual needs of your child and offer many positive outcomes, often emerging shortly after services are initiated.
SCHOOL SHADOWING
Designed for your child to be successful in academic and social settings with their peers. We focus on maximizing their learning opportunities throughout the day by providing 1:1 support to help your child meet their academic, social and behavioral goals.
PRIVATE SCHOOL CONSULTING & TRAINING
We coach and consult with teachers, assistants, and administration to develop individualized interventions to promote student success. Our team attends, prepares for, and supports you and your child at IEP meetings.
JESSICA LIEBER M.S., BCBA
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & FOUNDER
Jessica is the Executive Director and founder of Forward Behavior, LLC.
She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 20 years of experience working in the field of autism and behavior analysis. Her exceptional knowledge and experience in the field of behavior analysis makes her an ideal candidate to service children, train individuals and families, and prepare members of professional institutions in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis.
She began her work in the field of autism during her undergraduate years at UCLA, under the supervision of the late Dr. O. Ivar Lovaas, Ph.D., where she received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in child development. During this time, Jessica treated children, supervised and trained interventionists, and developed DTT and ABA programs.
She later continued her graduate training and received her Master’s Degree in Counseling with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from California State University, Los Angeles in 2007.
Throughout her 20+ years career in human services, Jessica has worked as Director of Behavioral Health Services for three top-rated behavior agencies. She specialized in program development, staff training and supervision, parent education, and school and home consultation. Jessica also conducted assessments regularly, independent evaluations for school districts, and functional assessments.
Jessica approaches each new situation with enthusiasm, wisdom, and insight. Most importantly, Jessica is passionate about helping families, individuals, and professionals in a positive, effective manner.
